McEntire Road VPA

The London Farms Dove Field is a 70-acre property located near Cleveland. This property offers quota hunts for dove. Selected hunters may start at 6:00 a.m. and hunt from 30 minutes before sunrise until sunset. No blinds, buckets, seats or other devices may be placed on the field until the hunter has checked in. No standbys. Selected hunters may bring up to two guests.
The Rocky Mountain Archery Range is located on Rocky Mountain Recreation & PFA in Floyd County.
Conasauga River WMA is located in Murray County. Although a relatively small WMA (338 acres), this area plays a large ecological conservation role by helping protect one of the most biologically diverse river systems in the Southeast U.S. With it's abundant wetlands, waterfowl hunting is the most popular use of the area but additional hunting including deer, small game and turkey can be enjoyed. No camping is allowed on the property. Please note that the area is closed to all other hunting during quota waterfowl hunts. No ATVs.
Since 1994 the Arrowhead Environmental Education Center (AEEC) offers programs to allow students of all ages to experience and learn about wildlife and ecology in Georgia. This 337-acre biologically diverse site welcomes field trips from schools (K-college), clubs, scouts, civic groups and others, offering hands-on outdoor and indoor learning experiences.
Also, AEEC offers outreach programs by bringing animals and activities to your school or event.
The Summerville Trout Hatchery and office is located in Chattooga County. The facility produces around 600,000 rainbow trout fry to distribute around Georgia each year.
Burton Trout Hatchery is located in Rabun County on Moccasin Creek next to Lake Burton and Moccasin Creek State Park. The hatchery is located approximately 20 miles north of Clarkesville on Georgia Highway 197 and is one of four trout hatcheries in the state. Burton Hatchery provides stocking support for Georgia trout streams and public waters.
The J.L. Lester Archery Range is located on J.L. Lester Wildlife Management Area in Polk County.
The Rich Mountain: Cartecay Tract Archery Range is located on Rich Mountain: Cartecay Tract Wildlife Management Area in Gilmer County.
The Chestnut Mountain Shooting Range is located on John's Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Whitfield County.
